Our Team

Mike Lengyel is the Tournament Director for the Big Kahuna Foundation and a veteran wrestling official entering his 55th year. He began officiating in Pennsylvania in 1969 and has since worked across Florida and California at every level of competition. Mike has led major tournaments including CIF Masters, Beast of the East, and Five Counties, and served as president of both SCWOA and OCWA. Honored with the California Golden Whistle Award in 2018, he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2023.

Ted Norkunas is the Event Director for the Big Kahuna Foundation and a longtime member of the Orange County Wrestling Officials Association, which he joined in 1976 after his final season as a competitor. He has served on the OCWOA board as both ratings chair and vice president. Dedicated to excellence and tradition, Ted continues to advance the organization while honoring the legacy of those who built it.
